Alves Receives Baxter Young Investigator Award

Dr. Nathan Alves was recently selected as a First-Tier Winner of the Baxter Young Investigator Award. Alves completed his Ph.D in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Notre Dame in August 2013 under the direction of Professor Basar Bilgicer. As a postdoctoral research fellow at the IU School of Medicine, Alves is currently developing advanced pulmonary embolism treatments under the direction of Dr. Jeff Kline.
