Notre Dame Imaging Facility to Host 4th Annual Microscopy Workshop

On Tuesday, May 9, and Wednesday, May 10, the Notre Dame Integrated Imaging Facility will host its annual Midwest Imaging and Microanalysis Workshop, featuring presentations from faculty across the region and focusing on new trends of in-situ and high-resolution electron microscopy for nanotechnology, materials and biosciences.

Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Awards

Established in 1999, the Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Awards recognize graduate student instructors and teaching assistants (TAs) who demonstrate a commitment to exceptional teaching. Forty-Seven University of Notre Dame graduate student TAs have received 2016-2017 Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Awards.

2017 Shaheen 3MT® Engineering Finalists Named

Three competitors were chosen after an energy filled qualifying round last Thursday to represent the College of Engineering at the Shaheen 3MT®finals. They are Mark Summe (chemical and biomolecular engineering), Maryam Moosaei (computer science and engineering), and Mingming Cai (electrical engineering), stood out against six other challengers. These students will go on to compete against finalists from the College of Science and the College of Arts and Letters at the March 27, Shaheen 3MT® Finals event in the Jordan Auditorium at Mendoza College of Business.

Bohn to Receive 2017 ACS Electrochemistry Award
