The Notre Dame College of Engineering is pleased to announce the Fall 2023 recipients of the Staff Excellence Awards, which recognize staff members’ exemplary contributions above and beyond the scope of their standard job responsibilities.
Award recipients are honored for having a substantial positive impact on the operations of their departments, the College, and the University, helping to elevate Notre Dame Engineering as we strive to build a better world for all.
We are pleased to recognize the following Fall 2023 award recipients:
Greg Brownell – Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (AME)
For his dedication to supporting student success in departmental courses, expertise in electronics and mechanical design, and unwavering patience and professionalism.
Tina Mitchell – Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences (CEEES)
For her proactive problem-solving and “can do” attitude, collegial spirit of educating and assisting others, and genuine dedication to the safety of our community.
Debby Wilzbacher – Dean’s Office
For her positivity and enthusiasm, aptitude for enhancing processes and systems, and helpfulness to all who need it.
Jessica Woolley – Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CBE)
For her commitment to enhancing the community and culture within the department, contributions to supporting the student experience, and devotion to special events like the SMASH REU program.
