Three doctoral students in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CBE) have received the 2020 Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Award.
Presented annually by Notre Dame Learning, the Graduate School, and the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning, the award recognizes exceptional teaching in the classroom or in a teaching laboratory.
“On a daily basis, our graduate students show a commitment to research and to engineering education, helping to guide the next generation of engineers in and outside of the classroom setting,” said Associate Professor Jason Hicks, director of graduate studies. “The contribution they make to the mission of the University and the CBE department is truly significant and sincerely appreciated.”
Congratulations to:
• Pedro Amorim Valenca, advised by Associate Professor William Philip and Assistant Professor Jonathan K. Whitmer
